Russel Allen is a godly singer, but this particular release seemed a bit uninspired in most ways other than the vocals. Love the verse riff, it has a nice root+5th, root+4th progression which is something I like to do a lot and I actually first got it from a DT song, Stream of Consciousness (I think that's the title ?)
