I was messing around with my Andy Timmons type patch on my Axe Fx Ultra and my Tele.

The Tele is 23 yr old and never had any fretwork done (and really needs it) and some rather hot BK piledrivers in it.

Strangely enough tapped harmonics were much clearer and easier on this guitar than my Tyler Burning Water with a Hot (Tyler shark) humbucker in the bridge on the same patch, and jumbo frets.

I'm not sure the differences in the action of the guitars, but I'd guess there isn't much in it between the two.
