Seeing as there is no live music etc at the moment, is anyone putting themselves out there on Twitch or Reddit Session?

I've seen some really good people and some...well...brave people putting themselves out there.

I've been thinking maybe I should pull out my old busking material and doing it for something to do, maybe even learn some songs I've always been meaning to and never got around to it.

Andy sat in for Jason Hook on their last Europe tour after Jason needed Gallbladder surgery and recovery time

It seems Jason's departure may not have been his idea

So much drama!!

I'm happy for Andy it will hopefully give him the financial reward for all his hard work.

He's a great guitarist and his last album is a favourite Instrumental guitar album of mine, I'm not much of a FFDP fan though

So I'm trying to get my shit together and learn to play and understand the heavier music I like to listened to but have never tried writing or playing

Genre like Punk, Screamo Melodic Hardcoare Metalcore, Melodic Hardcore

Rise Against, Story of the year, Thrice, Underoath, Anberlin, A Day To Remember

The drop tunings involved can be from a simple Eb tuning down to a Drop A etc

I'm likely to give my Les Paul the role for this, but apart from everything involved with the guitar and string gauges can we talk about bass guitar and how that fits in with guitars stepping into their sonic space.

I don't have a clue!

Any players here

I bought it during lockdown, I tend to grind and create my own lonely public session so I don't get any griefers.

It'd be nice to do some more sociable gaming sometimes laugh.gif

Has anyone used this and its accompanying work book?

It's well recommended on r/MusicTheory on Reddit.

I'm not sure I've got what it takes to go through it as a disciplined study and it's not exactly cheap.
