Yes!!!
I remember passing that cap as well.
That is a big step man, congratulations!
Bar chords are tough and passing that barrier opens up so many things. Once again, good job!

Congrats man!

I had a tough time with F as well, took me about a year to be able to hold it. I still try to avoid the barre shape whenever I can. laugh.gif

Yes, learning bar chords is tough, and its a big moment when learning guitar. I remember being so proud..lol. Ironically, now that I play primarily country lead I rarely use bar chords. Congratulaions Man!!!! I am sure many more exciting things are just around the corner.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Good job man !

F chord is always tough for everyone, but you nailed it quite quickly.
It took forever for me to learn it, and sometimes I still have trouble with these kinds of bar chords, but only on the acoustic (because the strings are so high above the frets).

Anyways, congratulations to you!
