Again i noticed some similar posts, this time asking for help with tabs.

So how bout having a tab section? In wich you can request a tab for a PART of a song, and our ear training comunity can try and tab it.

Also you can post your own written tabs and get corrected by others.

What do you think?

It's a great idea, my only concern is about copyrights..

My gut feeling is that this is a breach of copyright and so we can't do it. However we - the mods - want to talk this over with Kris. Until we've had a chance to and have put up a definitive response don't post any tabs.

Thanks,
Tony

Sadly, Kris has confirmed that we can't do this at the moment - we don;t have the right licenses in place - I made an announcement about it here.

This is a good idea though, and we'll let you know as soon as this changes!

I said so in you'r thread, but I'll say it here, I bolded the word PARTS on purpose, I guessed that full song tabs are a violation of copyrights, but I don't think that tabbing out small parts of a song is a violation.
