Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi dude!

I think your tone is really appropriate and it's nice to listen to. I would concentrate on timing, try to be even more locked with the drums. Slow down a bit

Hey mate!

Indeed, Daniel's point is very good - you need to be much more aware of what's happening in the backing track - that's your virtual band right there and they need you to be synchronized with them wink.gif So, my advice would be:

1) Carefully listen to the backing track and find all the accents and also try to imagine how the guitar would sound over it.
2) Try and tap your foot on the floor when you play - it's your internal metronome who won't fail you EVER if you train it properly biggrin.gif
3) Now that you are conscious of the rhythmic details, try and record again and compare the two takes smile.gif

Also, when riffing, make the chord shifts clearer, as right now they seem uncertain.

Best of luck!

Cosmin

It's a good take! You have to concentrate a bit on timing and vibrato. The timing isn't precise and your vibrato should be stronger. Check out the original lesson to notice what I mean! smile.gif

Very nicely played with great tone (although a bit too much space FX in it).

Things to improve here are timing and vibrato, although I think vibrato is the smaller problem. Main problem is keeping those powerchords and notes tight with the drums, which is not happening, you are mostly behind the beat. Try tapping your foot while playing, and nail those notes precisely on kick & snare.
