Hello everybody,
my name is Miguel. I'm 42 years old (never too late to start learning guitar!).
I live in Portugal, and I'm looking forward to learn some good tips to play guitar.
Obviously i'm not trying to be a good performer... but if i could play some good songs at home i'd be more than glad!

Thanks everyone!
Miguel

Hi Miguel, Welcome to GMC! smile.gif
I'm not sure what kind of music you would like to play. Maybe a good place to start is Ivan's Blues 101 lesson series. Of course start with the begining section and this will give you a good foundation.
Everyone here is willing to help so ask question when you need something.

Cheers,

Skillet

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
