Ok so im used to buying Gibson strings for a les paul copy. Now I have this Cort axe im not entirley sure what strings to load it with. I bought an ernie ball "custom gauge" .009 when i snapped the high E string and it seems pretty good. Would these EB custom gauge strings be a good idea for replacing the E, B and G strings? Also, what gauge would suite the guitar best? I want to stay fairly light as im a bit of a solo feind wink.gif laugh.gif

thanks smile.gif

Any 9's would be good.

yup as Botox says, any set of 9`s you fancy mate I`d say, personally I`d stick with the Ernie Balls, but its all a matter of trying and finding what you like.

Ernie Balls Super Slinkys (pink packet)

+1 for the blue steel 9-46, not too doorable, but great soft quality strings.
