In The Sea Of Sand
On Wind It Was Written
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

On a rising eastern wind
It came
The stench of death
With the jaded preaching’s
Of a glass messiah

On a chariot of skulls
On a throne composed of flesh
Came a creature of the sky
A god to no one, Except in his own eyes

And there I stood
Upon a distant desert dune
The horizon bleeding
A deeper shade of a crimson hue

My life
Razed to the ground
Brought down in a hail of death
For nothing, For no one...

...She did die

Sanguine, And the rivers swelled
My heart stopped beating
But blood still flows
Merciless and cold
Painful and slow
From the depths of Abbadon will my hate be felt

SOLO

On a rising eastern wind
It came
The stench of death
With the jaded preaching’s
Of a glass messiah

And on a setting western breeze
Was my path set in stone
Seeking vengeance
No remorse
Unending will be my resolution

Her life stopped short
By the cold touch of steel
Her heart drained dry
By the thousands of tears

If for nothing was her death
Then for something, Will I make you die

Sanguine, And the rivers swelled
My heart stopped beating
But blood still flows
Merciless and cold
Painful and slow
From the depths of Abbadon will my hate be felt

This one is part of a series of songs, A traveler comes home after walking miles in the desert, only to see his hometown destroyed and being razed to the ground by an army of hell!!

Me and some friend are doing a bunch of interlocking stories, and this is the beginning of mine smile.gif
