Ok so the screen, footpedals etc. are obviously fake but look at that size!

Handy! It's the smallest i've seen for sure. It's bus powered which is cool. It does have on board dsp for sounding like most of the multi fx zoom units. it does not appear to have a quarter inch output and is not really designed to work with an amp, also it doesn't look like it will work without being connected to a computer. So your laptop is the dongle smile.gif I may be wrong, but it sure seems that way? Still, a very handy portable interface. I wonder if you can use other plugins with it and let it be just an interface?

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/GCE...ircuit-emulator

Details still unknown but from what I understand its basically a real-deal processor that can only be tweaked with a software.

So I think one can select and save an amp preset at home, take it to stage as the last of the pedal chain and it will be the amp. For stereo, a Y cable from headphone out should be enough.

That sounds very interesting indeed -but it's highly suspicious they don't include a standard output if they intended this kind of use.

edit: maybe they chose a 3.5 mm output because of space constraints.

Its the same with their new G1 FOUR, same output for headphone or amp (only bigger jack). Headphone format makes this possible but again for stereo out one needs a Y cable,

Yep, if you like the G1 Four is 80 and the g1 fourX (has pedal for volume, wah...) is also 100. These have foot control but doesn't work as soundcard (but I think can be edited with software as they have usb).

https://www.zoom.co.jp/products/guitar-bass...ects-processors

The G1 range can do 5 fx at once, I'm not sure about the GCE-3's limits.

I think the video confirms on computer you can do everything with this (gce-3) what the g5n (330 dolar unit) can do for recording.

Now lets wait and see user video's for it, if successful it will be a great advice for future new GMC'ers when they need advice.

News on zoom gce-3; it can store the last preset saved smile.gif

This means if it can be controlled by a usb-to-midi controller for preset swapping (no confirmation yet), then the sound and dsp power of the flagship g5n can be obtained for around half the price wink.gif
