Wanted to see if anybody knew how to tell if your guitar has this type of finish. I've read alot on the reason behind it and how it affects the age process of the wood, but nothing on how to tell. Alot of the foam material on todays guitar stands state not to use with this type of finish.

thanks in advance,

Can't tell for sure but will ask my friend who made my custom,
he knows a lot about those things. smile.gif

As far as I remember,it only type of lacquer and you can't see it that clearly,
it's more about protection and the way how you put on wood,
time breaks between each segment, air condition in room etc.
