Hi all,

I`m in the process of trying to get a blues/Rock Blues Virtual Band together.

this will be an intermediate level band and will be lead by "Xucphra", so far we have one other member of this band "Coffeeman" and they need at least a couple of extra people to get involved to get the band up and running.

I have contacted some members on my lists by PM, I have had some replies but not from everyone. So with this in mind I`ve decided to try and "advertise" for members to join these two guys.

Their proposed first song is Layla - Eric Clapton, and they need people to get involved with Bass and drums, whether its VST bass or not it doesnt matter also vocals and maybe some extra guitar bits.

They dont have a band name as yet, so if your interested theres lots to get involved with here, either PM me or reply in this thread and we`ll take it from there smile.gif

Cheers
Chris

I really like the fast blues type thingies thing, well let"s put it this way blues/shred/SRV thing, but I also dig eric clapton ( he got me into guitar after all )
And I'm at a Intermediate level, maby even advanced tongue.gif
But my problem is that I can't make decent recordings, I can only record with my digital camara, and use guitar pro as a second guitar or something.
This is a big problem for this, isn't it?

can you not record into the line in of your PC and download Reaper or a similiar program to record?
Just a thought smile.gif

Could do with reasonable recordings on these really imo.

Are there no takers?? It's not even going to be strictly blues. We will be doing rock, etc as well.
Come on! I'm sure there's some of you out there! Preferably someone with experience with bass [VST or not] and/or drums. You don't even need to be intermediate at guitar.
Just letting ya know =]

Well I'd like to rock and blues very much. If you need people, you can sign me up, but I won't bring the lvl up! Maybe it's not realy a problem to have one beginner solo and more advanced mixed! I'd love to do Layla because I'm busy with it myself, I can do vocals but don't expect much from it:P

I'll just sign up for it because it's not much animo:P PM me for more detail ow and Mark, I record using a five euro headset! it sound OK.

btw, xucphra (kinda weird name:P) you're the graphics guy aren't you? I also did something with it, I've send in a pick. I like your T-shirt design. Maybe you can make the band one to!

name? hmmm.. blues clues, bandage (name of my dad's old band) Bluesciel (like bloes-siel)

I'm not into doing bass and drums, but If you want to cover Layla I have a lazy solution.
Just down layla from ultimate-guitar.com and there's a bass and drum line in there.
