You must get a green card somehow. I think the only way is to get married or something, maybe join the army..

You can become a citizen of the U.S without getting married to a U.S. citizen. It is hard I imagine and takes a while as it seems many people want to come here and stay. But if done legally you are more than welcome. You can read how here and many other places on the net. Good luck to you.

I got a green card by marrying a US citizen - that is the easiest way. It fast tracks actually getting the card in the first place (you get it immediately), and reduces the residency period before you can apply to become a citizen (3 years instead of 5 or more).

If you have a college level education or above (Berkley would count I should think) you can get a work Visa if you are sponsored by a US company, although this usually happens in the hi tech industry where specific skills are in short supply and the company has to be able to prove that they couldn't get a US guy to do the same job. Some types of work Visa let you get a green card after a period of time.

Fiunally, there is the green card lottery - every year, to citizens of certain countries only, the USA gives away green cards - you enter your name in a draw. I don't know if Honduras is on the list or not - I know the UK isn't.

I can work in USA pretty much whenever I want because I'm a Systems Engineer and they want Systems Engineers but I'm quite content in UK as I get paid more here.

I took a pay cut in exchange rate terms to move to the USA, but the reality is that I am far better off here because the cost of living is less, and taxes are also lower - the headline figures don't tell the whole story.

Yeah, a family friend from Scotland stayed at my house for a week. He told us that if we think that the price of gas is bad here, we should really see it over in the UK. I don't remember a specific figure, but I know that it REALLY was ridiculous.

Yer, diesel here at the moment (well in Kent, south east UK) is £1.09 (approx $2.15USD)) a litre and petrol is £1.06 (approx $2.09USD) per litre .

Fortunatly I work for a fuel company and get my diesel for free smile.gif well.. actually its not free coz then I get taxed on it in my wages coz its a benefit mad.gif
