I figured since so many people are on this website trying to learn and play and everything, we should have a list of songs that people play at bars and clubs etc...when they are working.
I'm pretty sure if I was to play at "Hard Rock Cafe" or something, I doubt they'd want to play Needled 24/7 biggrin.gif
I thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of "appropriate" tracks to play at these kind of venues, and since we have people on the website that do this kind of thing for a living, who better to ask?
post some up!
Cheers
(oh, by the way, Kris's other website, www.freelicks.net, is a good place for some ideas)

I'll start off with a couple -

Sweet Child O'Mine - Guns N' Roses
Wonderwall - Oasis
Another Brick In The Wall - Pink Floyd
We Will Rock You - Queen
Living On A Prayer - Bon Jovi

I would probably leave if a band started playing Wonderwal...The rest are good though. Maybe throw in an ACDC song or something, easy for bands to learn and simple enough for everyone in the audience to enjoy.

I agree... I wouldn't say wonderwall is a good song for live stuff just IMO, but maybe something like some might say or hey now. I like oasis but I don't think most people would wanna hear wonderwall while they're eating or something tongue.gif I guess it depends where you play though.

ACDC, Metallica or some Maiden hits are the best for live rock crowds. The people go berseerk when they hear it smile.gif
