hi everyone...i'm real beginner and i'found a big problem with my left hand i can't reach string with little finger for example doing Am scale i cant reach C on E chord
p.s. is any instructor italian or speak italian??

using the pinky correctly and fluidly takes time, but dont use it unless you cant do it with the other fingers, or unless you're trying to get better with pinky. Its just a matter of practicing so keep practicing! smile.gif

It is common to think you can not do a chord because your hands are too small. But with time you adapt and overcome. Hang in there.

Hey man, practice is all it takes. just like anything, the more you practice, the better you become. Keep digging bro! Like fret, matt and ka said, it just takes time. Go through the beginner course here. Once you have those lessons down, then move on to some of the other lessons that suite your style.

All the help you ever need is here, just ask!

Don't worry keep practicing and mkae sure to stretch out your hands and fingers before you play, and to make sure and do warm up exercises before you play. That and enough practice will enable you to play whatever chords you want. It just takes time and effort.
