Hey guys, I listened to the backing track and started to improvise, this is what I came with.

Any opinions would be very appreciated.

Thanks,
Mario.

EDIT: for some reason I can't upload the track, sorry, I'll keep trying.

Hey Ivan!

Ok, I decided to go clean on this one. And I recorded differently, experimenting with micing my guitar amp with a shure sm57. Still fooling around with this one. Let me know if you can hear it okay cause I'm having computer problems.

With BackingAttached File  newballcollabwithbt.mp3 ( 1.97MB ) Number of downloads: 226

Without the BackingAttached File  newballcollabnobt.mp3 ( 1.97MB ) Number of downloads: 144

Heya mario, he needs one that is just the guitar without any backing track. Otherwise he wont be able to put it in the final mix. Cheers

I know, but this isn't for the collaboration, it's just me improvising.

In order to participate in the collab you must send us your guitar recording without and with a backing. That's 2 recordings, so I can mix it properly. Thanks for recording this impro! You can do another one or send us solo guitar of this one.

Hi. This is my first collab participation. Hope to be good enough biggrin.gif
Attached File  Gus_NewBalladCollabGMC_BT.mp3 ( 1.94MB ) Number of downloads: 125

I did not hear to the other stuff before figuring out mine, but now I heard it all. It is quite impressive how many good ideas can come of the same base, each of them with its own feeling. Of course, this was such a beautiful backing track which helps a lot. I hardly could stop jamming with it.
Looking forward for the final mix. tongue.gif

Here is my attempt. I came up with the idea rather quickly but again was in the process of moving to yet another place. This one has dial-up. At least I have internet access even though it is extremely slow. It took about 40 minutes to upload these files.

I might try and record a take when I'm home from work. But it will be a total improv as I haven't time to write anything specific.
