I just got a metronome tonight... Ive been messing with it, but i still dont get how to use it.. Ive tried the lessons in here, but i guess its gonna take some time to get it right... tongue.gif

Basically you set it to a tempo and it beeps. 4 beeps is a bar. If you play a note a beep that is playing quarter notes. If you do 2 notes a beep then that is eighth notes. 4 notes a beep is sixteenth notes.

Yeah, ive done that lesson a few times... Im used to playing along with cds, hopefully ill get this metronome thing soon..

once you get the timing down on scales, how do you use it on rythms? I wish there was some lessons on using the metronome with rythm guitar..

The way I use it I start with whole notes, and go from there, inceasing the tempo, littel by little. If I play rhythm, I just go from 50bpm increasing it by 10bpm at a time and playing a rhythm. WIth right hand rhythm it is important to first do basic 16th note strummings, and then the rest is easy.
