Ok, that seems a good motivation, so I will also join smile.gif
These are my 3 challenges:

Pantera - Cowboys From Hell (started, high Intro-Riff @ 80 bpm, low Intro-Riff @ 75 bpm, I can play both riffs faster, but I really want to nail that song)
Muris Varajic - Alternate Picking (Just practicing part 1, trying to get into my head)
Gabriel Leopardi - Power Metal Soloing (Intro done wink.gif)

Well I changed up my lessons, took some out, was take a little to much on. Ill tell you how on doing on each of these lessons.

Steve Lukather Style Lesson - Learned, but really trying to get everything as good as I can get it, then I'll upload my take.

Johan Larsson "D.N.A.F.T " - Solo- Learned, but I need to practice this alot, the tone is really giving me trouble and the timing is really tough. Heres my take just the begging though. Attached File  beggining_of_dnaft.mp3 ( 697.14K ) Number of downloads: 178
. Really have to work on the timing.

Extreme Neo-Classic - Learned a bit, this is really going to be hard.

Sweeping Lesson 2 (5-string shapes)- Haven't started.

Opeth style lesson - Started, not very far though.

Fusion Jam - Intermediate - Started only through two videos.

Tj - Actually, I think your DNAFT tone sounds good! This solo is harder than it looks (at least for me it is - gives me trouble too) but it sounds like you're working on it and doing a good job. Cool! You've got a good starting point. Keep it up man! smile.gif
I've found in doing all this that it's hard to fight the urge to jump from lesson to lesson!

Yeah, I dont know I've never really had trouble with the feel of a solo, this one on the other hand is super difficult for me. And Is way harder than it looks.

This is a really good idea, posting yourself playing something really gets you concentrated (and perfectionistic) laugh.gif
I'm not gonna do a lesson from all the instructors tongue.gif Ima do the shred ones

:

Pavel : Alternate Picking 1,2,3,4 and Luca Turilli
Muris : Extreme Neo- Classic, String Skipping and In the style of Paul Gilbert I
Juan : Shred Tapping
David : Alternate Picking chops
Gabriel : Shred solo lesson
Marcus : Neoclassical Advanced

and I'm also learning Under the influence from rusty,
This might gonna take some while tongue.gif

Mark.
