I heard it has 6 strings and 30 total frets, so that would mean the songs are on the first five frets only I guess. I think the 6 lines as the strings and whatever color the button is, is the fret you press. Maybe not so great for an advanced player, but I would think it is useful for beginners.

There are little numbers in the bubbles that tell you which fret, the color has just supports the fret area i think.

Yes, but in this game you ARE playing with a real guitar, and you ARE learning real guitar. There is no fake involved here. I think it is great for warming up at for advanced players at least and for beginners it can teach them the basics and they can learn songs along the way to play for others.

Hmm, i still dont get that "game" thing, usually people says they cant afford real guitars, and play guitar hero, but it seems that in this one you need a real guitar so.... i'd better go for tabs/guitar pro(or ear) than spending money in a game that "would" help me learning songs. And if you think guitar pro's sound is not enough realistic you could still play along the real song you re learning biggrin.gif

This is basically what i do anyway, i pick up my guitar and play along to my favorite songs (Minus money leaving my pocket), so this just seems unnescessary to me....But i guess for beginners it might work out, still then. Why pay for a game when you could just look up some music (tabs, sheet) to get you started?

I guess these things just arent for me sad.gif

I think the idea isn't bad, it's just the fact that 5 frets sounds pretty limited to me...
Will there even be bending included? or chords?

There is 30 frets, the 6 lines represent the 6 strings and numbers appear on the button 1-5, these represent frets. Bending I'm not sure, chords probably.

Would this mean then that it will include playing on higher frets than just 5? huh.gif

it can be all over the neck, I'd be curious what it does for bends and vibrato and stuff. I'd definitely check out a demo. The numbers in the bubble are the frets so basically it's like playing along with Guitar Pro but getting scored on your accuracy. It'll be great if someone hacks it to import GP5 files.
