I'm talking about the speed feeling... yeah, with a normal fretboard there are a mistake that we usually do, that is pressing too hard the strings. That's a horrible mistake because you lose speed and accuracity, but if you play with an scalloped neck if you press too hard you change the tune of the note, so you can know when you are playing wrong As I said before, that's my own experience.
