Football is very international now
Half of the coaches here in Norway are Swedish, and alot of the players on my hometeam are from Sweden, Iceland or some African country.
I don't mind it though, since they all play kickass.. Or atleast for 15 minutes before they loose interest and just slouches around for the rest of the game...

I think you've completely missed my point.

Newcastle are complete idiots. Why sack a manager who did a brilliant job last season of saving a sinking club. Because he admitted he couldn't break the top 4? No surprise there. Just madness.

Glad to see Berbatov at United. Another bit of good business from Ferguson. Getting Spurs to drop the case as well was excellent.

Robinho to Man City is hilarious for several reasons. Mainly because it will annoy Chelsea. But also I really don't see him doing that well there. Feel sorry for Wright-Phillips as well. He's just joined the new Chelsea. Typical buyers who don't really know much about football. Come straight in and want all the big names. Half of them I can't see how they would have fit in at Man City.

Also Spurs are hilarious. Linked with so many players and so few of them came off. With only Campbell, Bent, and Pavlyuchenko upfront you're going to struggle a bit. Another mid table finish it is then.

Last night was extremely entertaining.

I think lower than mid table for Spurs. I think they will be down the bottom battling away. The Keegan thing is ridiculous and I think Robinho just went to Man City because he could hardly keep playing for Real Madrid and Real Madrid wouldn't agree to a deal with Chelsea.

Someone has just informed me that this is all over sky sports news:

"The new owner(s) just said they are going to bid £135m for Cristiano Ronaldo, and also bid for Torres and Fabregas and they plan to bring in 18 players in January. "

Way to be completely clueless.

It's just so annoying all these big money companies coming in and trying to buy success. They seem to head straight for the big names regardless of if they'd fit in the team. Evidence can be seen at Chelsea (who admittedly now are spending rather wisely compared to Abramovich's first season in charge). Now obviously just because City want to bid for all these players doesn't mean they'll get them but it's just the cheek of it. I mean putting in a bid for Ronaldo is just staggering. It just shows the ignorance and lack of football knowledge they possess. I mean Ronaldo from Utd to City would cause the biggest uproar from both clubs fans. I can't see United fans wanting him to leave and I can't see City fans wanting him. Plus by buying big straight away it completely ruins the academy process and is a massive hinderence for upcoming international talent. At least clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal have younger stars coming through the ranks (Anderson, Campbell, Nasri, Wallcott) whereas Manchester City are skipping this and aiming too high too quickly.

A 6 match ban is seriously laughable. For beating a fellow team mate up so severely you get a 6 match man. That is seriously messed up.

He needed a year ban so he actually realises he can't do what he likes and he needs to seriously sort his life out. 6 match ban is nothing.

It's so painful watching England that I'm not watching them tomorrow. I'm going to see Nottinghamshire CCC play Lancashire CCC in the cricket evening game.

I can't wait for the Premiership this Saturday. We have Portsmouth away and I fancy our chances.
