My ebow decided to go bonkers on me.. The LED lights up like usual, but there's no action at all.

The annoying part is that it's most likely a disconnected wire inside it, but there's no way of getting inside it.. it's all glued together. Or so it seems.

Anyone know how to or have managed to open up and get an ebow back together again?

I tried mailing ebow.com, but no reply. No phonenumber listed either.

.. these things cost alot, would hate to have to order a new one

I guess warranty expired..Maybe you should disassemble it (or try to) even though its glued..I can't see other way..But wait for some more for ebow.com to answer...

+1 with Ivan.

However if you can't return it Trond then try contacting Greg Heet (president of the company):

"""Heet Sound Products, 611 Ducommun Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Tel: (213) 687-9946. Web: www.ebow.com. Greg Heet, president. The EBow is a hand-held electronic bow for guitar, featuring ?Direct String Synthesis.? The EBow produces a powerful infinite sustain, rich in harmonics for incredible guitar sounds."""

Cheers,
Tony

if nothing works with the big companies (grrr), try warming the jointy bits with solder iron and see if it pops open
