Hey all GMCers...

I'm sitting here practicing and wondering on correct technique for my fret hand. When I change notes and lets say.. I do this...

12-13-15

on the high e string

should I keep my fingers down as I go up and "add" the other fingers? Then lift them off to go back down?

I'm noticing that I pick up each finger as I switch.

If I understood you right, then you should definitely keep them down. It's waisted movement to lift them up to just have to put them back down again.
