Feel free to download this backing track I made a long time ago; its fun to improvise Em blues scale leads on.
Its 7 minutes long and a simple tune to play around with. There is also a lead at the end to counteract with [mainly feedback].

Answering to your question, I think that phryigian dominant may work on the first part, but maybe it won't work after you start the power chords progression.
