That's what he's basically doing. He's playing simple arpeggios with right hand and pulling off other strings with left hand. So don't worry - it's nothing spectacular!

Yeah but this is guitar, not Harp
If you want to have all notes possible across 3 octaves or more, start playing a harp, right?
