Man, I wish my skills were up to par for this one! Jeff Healy was one of the greats!
Thanks for bringing this one up Uncreator, I'll definitely be watching and listening!

Heres a Backing from a member of soundclick if you guys choose to use it. JH is way beyond my skill. Hope it don't offend any GMC'ers or violate any rules but thought this was a really good backing.

Steve

Wow, this is a really good backing. For I didn't know there was already one, in the meantime I've found some "While my guitar gently weeps" backing, just in case - Not so good quality track, but always a classic. Perhaps we could make more of one cover?

I'm in for a solo (and melody if needed) and I can do the mixing too. wink.gif

The soundclick file is an Em bluesy groove (Em G Am).

We should check if it's ok to use it under the copyright agreements bla bla bla (Kris? Andrew?)

Same with while my guitar gently weeps (would't it be nice to make an instrumental version?), there's an excellent backing for that song in licklibrary that would work better in my opinion (more bluesy).
