I guess I just like the originals too much... I just hope they won't come up with a reverse Les Paul, I think I would have to stop playing Gibson guitars in that case wink.gif

I guess you're a purist then - what do you think of the Gibson robot guitar? (The one that tunes itself)

Well, since I am endorsing both, Gibson and Tronical, I have a Les Paul equiped with the Power Tune sytsem and I am about to get another one, none of those guitars is the Robot guitar though, one was a Les Paul Studio, the prototype that they introduced on last years Musik Messe in Frankfurt, and now I will get a Custom, also with the Power tune. But I would also play the Robot guitar, it is a Les Paul after all and the powertune system works perfectly fine, the only thing I don't like that much about the Robot guitar is the finish... hehe, yes, I guess I am a purist concerning Gibsons wink.gif

smile.gif I guess the important point is that the tuning system doesn't have any impact on the tone or playability so its not that much of a compromise ...

Les Paul is my next guitar for sure, but probably not a robot.

the reverse sg would be really cool, but a reverse lp? Thats just scary. I think the reverse explorer isnt as bad as the v actually, i think the v's really ugly. You know fender made a jimi hendrix strat that was reversed? It was really confusing me when i read about it. It was made so that right handers could have the same experience hendrix, a southpaw, did playing his right handed guitar. Gave me a headache. blink.gif

I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!

Look at the topic for my guitar...
Finished Guitar Build

Gear:
Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker)
Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!)

Why to expend so much money on a ugly guitar??? huh.gif

When you expend this money, not only the guitar shall be good, but it must be good looking
