Here it is...

As a bartion my range is from A below middle C to the G above middle C,and that lower note was not a problem..but that high G steal is...I can sing it but it is very hard and needs much concetration....how did I get to that G...well when I started with my singing school I could go to E above middle C or F..but G was untouchible for me...so the next few months I did series of exersise that brought me to that G....
every day I did a scale like this example
for a long time I did not go to that G..but for a month or so just went to E,and month later F,then F#....and always that scales E(minor\major),F(minor\major) and F#(minor major)....and only when I was shore that I can sing that 3 high nots witouth any thinking and very easy I could go to that G....

so conclousion and advice....If you have a truble high note,do not go streit to here, prectise 2 or 3 notes belowe that note you wanna get to...and when you have the note that is sammy tone lower then the note you are going to...you want have a problem geting that hig note you search for...
so I hope this helps a little:)

Hey, thanks for the advice. I've always be refraining from singing because of not reaching high notes. But recently, when playing guitar around I try to keep my voice in the lower and instead of bad faces I sometimes get compliments...

I've been trying your classes, and I guess that with some practice I can follow your voice =D

Let me see if I got it right. The bariton range is
A2 B2 C3 D3 E3 F3 G3 A3 B3 C4 D4 E4 F4 G4
So in order to get higher, I should practice major/minor scales
from E3 to E4
from F3 to F4
from F#3 to F#4
and finally from G3 to G4?

When practicing the scales what you suggest, just keep strumming the base chord like you did in your first lesson?

How long should I practice scales every day?

Hi man....look if U are a bariton this would not be any problem...Yeah just like in my first lesson you can play the scale....Start with E major and E minor...and do it slowly...once or twice a day...and try to concetrate on that theory .."I am going up,my voice is going down"..and the other way off curse...Do One scale a day..10 min should be enofe...
one more thing...don"t touch high G on force.....if you have a mic..you can upload your voice so I could tell U what to do.....smile.gif

I'm weird Nemanja in that my range is split. I can sing very high and very low but my mid range doesn't exist. How do I get a mid range?

hi...I had to go on the trip to play with my band so I am responding know.

well...that is hard song to sing, and expetially like Franck does, becous there is more to that song then just good technique, emotions and dynamics are very important factor..it depends what voice you are..if you are lower voice than Franck it would be hard..but you can always sing from lower key....so try to sing it from a lower key...smile.gif
off course...scales and singing exercise would help alot....smile.gif

As Ivan sad scales are good...but try to sing middle range scale very very slow..one note on a breath...and with no vibrato...try to keep it come as possible...in time that would define your middle range....smile.gif
