hello guys, i hope this is the right forum for this topic, if not, im really sorry and i would hope that the moderator would kindly move this topic to a right place.

recently i changed my guitar string to a new one because its already rusty and the color has already changed.

what i want to ask here is , before i change the string, the Low E string were fine even without the new string. then after i changed the string the Low E string started to give a fret noise, its something like bzz bzz sound.(the tuning is already good and it give a brighter sound than the rusty string but it give me fret noises)

how can i get rid of that fret noise?

im looking forward to hear from you guys.

best regards

nope it was the same size from before.

is it because i made mistakes when changing the string?

is there any condition/rules that we must stick to when changing strings? because when i change the string i just follow how the string were attached to the guitar from before.

If you used the same gauge than it's bit odd.
But if action is too low then new string have intention
to buzz much more compared to old and used ones.
Is your action kind a low generally?

Too low tuning can also give the same problem.
