Hey guys! This is my very first upload at GMC tongue.gif and it's a bit of a piece I came up with and wrote myself. Still working on it but I thought I'd add a C Chord to the end and get some constructive criticism. I am currently writing lyrics so I know the name of the song. It's just a simple sweet melody. wink.gif
Gibson Faded SG------>Vox AD30VT------>M-Audio FastTrack------>Steinberg Sequel

I hope you guys like it. GIVE THE HARSHEST AND NICEST COMMENTS POSSIBLE!

I've been playing almost a year and a half.

THANKS

EDIT:It is now an MP3 thx! EDIT:VERSION 2

MIDI COMING TOMORROW (Drums) wink.gif

Use this program to make the file into an mp3. It's way too huge.

Concerning the recording... it's too bassy. I can't really hear the guitar clearly.

Nice enough melody smile.gif
It's a bit hard to hear the details though, it's a bit too bassy as SinoMan stated.

Any chance to re-record? smile.gif

It is very nice and subtle, I recommend making the bass littel less muddy, maybe you can put it in hi mids a little, but just a little, and guitar needs to be a little better. Too much bass, roll it off a little in EQ, and then send it for a revision.

Still very bassy and boomy. I bet you're listening to this on some very small speakers that have almost no bass. Try comparing this against a professional recording, or throw your speakers/headphones out of the window.

Nice chords man..I think that second guitar you recorded would sound better playing that chords on higher positions on the neck..Recording wise , muddy and too bassy..Good idea overall man.. wink.gif

Definitely some solo instrument is needed there. But other than that, it's nice.
