Hey everyone, this is my first day on this site and so far everything looks awesome. I just have a few questions pertaining to how things work around here. First of all, who are these people that are submitting the video lessons, such as Muris and Juan m Valero who are so awesome? are they just normal people like us that join the site and decide to make a video? or are they professional teachers? Same with Kris Dahl, i've seen his lessons on ultimate-guitar, does he run the show on here? Lastly, what exactly is the virtual bands and how do they work? sounds like a very cool idea. Thanks, and I look forward to meeting many people here.

Looks like You got in a right place for guitar learning ! Juan and Muris are awesome teacher, of course. You could check out their personal profile for their biography, perhaps there would be a little bit more details on it. For the virtual band, it is an idea that you could form a band with several people and start making your own music. There is a forum out there that has the GMC Virtual Band and its subforum. Read them out and you will know whats going on ! Cheers for joining this site rolleyes.gif

Welcome smile.gif

You can definetly call Juan and Muris professional teachers, and Kris is the big kahuna around here who holds everything together smile.gif

And also an all round really nice and helpful guy smile.gif .

And a 100% pro musician (not 1/2 mate as you say later - you're far too modest smile.gif )

Cheers,
Tony
