Slower Lesson Audio Tracks

I know the instructors provide a slow version with each video clip, but a slower version of the whole solo (with backing) would be a great help with timing issues. Remember that you can use the guitarpro file and change the tempo, or if I record a slow video you can use it, isn't it ?? or do you think it's better a slow mp3 playing lesson with BT ?? It reads and writes Guitar pro files and seems to work just fine. Another option is for instructors to take the audio of the main video and slow it down in a sequencer software (all the ones I know of are capable of slowing down without changing pitch) - this should be done quickly and can then be uploaded as a backing track to the lesons. I remember to have had some difficulties sometimes. Playing at slower speed to the GP file was ok, but with the backing track at the same speed i was lost .. BTW you can dowload a GuitarPro demo...
