I'm not a big fan myself of the Tiny Terror but I'm positive you could manage the sounds you're looking for.
I'd cut out a fair bit of the mids and you'd get a good drive if you first gain the Tiny Terror up and then add a (wild) OD pedal, or a distortion to push the already overdriven amp further. A 4x12 could help aswell. That as a TRY. I don't have the Tiny Terror and I've only played it by itself through a 4x12, no pedals, so it's only assumptions on my part. ;-) -------------------- My bands homepage

For amps I would suggest a Line 6 Spider. If you have the money possibly a Peavey 6505 or a Line 6 Vetta.

Thanks. Have u used the MT-2? In general people seem to think it is not as good as the EH stuff...whatever that means. How is you Danelectro Fab Metal? I have also been thinking about maybe a real tube distortion pedal (bascically a high gain tube preamp) like the Blackstar DistX. Seems to have good reviews and apparently is quite queit and does not need a noise gate... I've tried the MT-2 yes, and i thought it was a great and versatile pedal that sounded good in most amps. I havent had that much experience with the Muff, but there's no doubt that it kicks butt. The FAB metal pedal is WAY better than it's price will say. It's only 14$, but you can get it for even 9$ new on eBay. It sounds good if you have a good and versatile preamp/head/combo. But if not, it's kinda limited what you can do with it. Never tried the Blackstar though.. ...or, buy the Boss ME-50 and start tweaking in the sound with that. I think that would be a quite complete setup. Tiny Terror, Boss ME-50, 1x12 cab.
Mike it up for larger events, I think you can manage with that for a long long time. -------------------- My bands homepage

And in addition, perhaps the ME-50 has an EQ to help you on that part?

IF you want something really chuggy and dark.. just buy a Digitech Death Metal But be warned.. its extreme distortion, that could overdrive even radio And you cant play anything prior to death/trash/black metal..
Btw. I stand for that Boss.. its is pretty flexible... Or just buy a multieffect and youľl be able to make sound you like.. -------------------- my youtube account with riffs and ideas: https://www.youtube.com/user/Phoenygzus

Definitely check Randall heads, they are built for chugging riffs indeed! Take some tube head and your calm. THey also have a great clean sound, Fender type, but darker.
