Gents (and ladies?),

I've always wanted a Les Paul Standard but I've yet to rob a bank, so in the meantime I'm looking at a couple of other guitars.

My main influences are Alex Lifeson, Andy Latimer, Eric Clapton and David Gilmour. I mention this just to give you an idea of the sound that I go for.

I've been researching on the internet and soon I'll be hitting a few guitar shops to play a few guitars face to face.

At the moment I've two on my list. Either a Cort m600 or a Gordon Smith GS3

Anyone got one or either of these and would like to pass on a view?

hi Mike! Sadly I havent played either, but I can vouch for the high quality of Cort Products - and the customer support is excellent.

Hopefully someone whos played either of these guitars can give you bette advice wink.gif
