Several reasons really! Belive it or not least because its Pauls Signature model ! laugh.gif

Ive wanted an Ibanez for a long time, I wanted a fast maple neck and "real" Di Marzio pickups, something will enable my picking to shine through. the PAF Pros are ideal for my style.

Another requirment was easy to tune and BIG sustain !! I dont like faffing about with double locking trems, I dont use them. Im all for pickup and play smile.gif

All in all, it was everything I wanted for the price. I was very tempted by a used RG550 20th Anniversary , but in the end felt the PGM was for me smile.gif Plus its brand new with a great hardcase!

Grats Matt! That guitar seems really awesome indeed, and I'm not just saying that. One of the few Ibanez I want badly.

I agree with you man haha. I bet sunday night is going to be fairly sleepless for you! It's a sexy machine, can't wait to see some actual pics (I've only ever seen one on store websites). Does it actually have sound holes, or are those just paint?

Its a solid body like an RG or JEM, there F-holes are painted on as a signature smile.gif As im a big fan of classical music it seems fitting smile.gif

I will do a full snap shoot before i play it ! laugh.gif

I figured they were probably paint. He doesn't really have that hollow-body sound to his playing laugh.gif
But they look sweet
