It would be pretty cool to learn how to scream, I can't wait for a lesson on that, even if it is only for fun... And it destroys my vocal cords.

BTW check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_Bqt9uzKDY

laugh.gif The song finishes at 00:02 , He's actually supposed to have said "You suffer but why?". I wonder if he actually says it? laugh.gif

Jim Gilette is awesome. I have the Nitro albums he sang on, not really good albums.. but quite entertaining smile.gif
The only thing that goes higher than he sings is his hair!

It is possible to learn to scream and not injure yourself. There's this DVD by a vocal coach Melissa Cross called the 'The Zen Of Screaming' that teaches you how.

It be cool if someone offered something similar here.

well heres a little secret for that you dont need to scream hard if your mics hooked up to a preamp or a equilizer bring up the volume level to the point it dont dawn out your voice what I mean by that is when you talk the speaker doesnt distort
and when you scream its at the right DB Level and if you got a Volume pedal on the floor you can change that completely! because you have full control of the mic vol you pull it up to bring up the volume to not peak your speakers and if you push down on it and if you do it right you'll scream over your guitars bass and drums and not drown anyone out or distort your voice in anyway try that let me know if any of those methods work for you

Eyeless by Slipknot is a great song with some good screaming and growling. I love slipknot's screams and music. All except their DJ/turntable stuff, I'm not a fan of that. There's definitely some language in the vid so watch at own risk. The vid also kinda sucks but still a good song. smile.gif

hi...I dont think you should do it so soon,as Luciana sad it is bad for your vocal strings...and it takes time to adjust your vocals strings to that kind of effort...
I hope Luciana could explain a little a bout this kind of singing...because she has the expiriance...
and I know it would be hard to explane....
