I'm going to be faced with connecting all kinds of nice goodies together soon in a rack and i've come to the realization that i have not the first clue how to go about it. I know that different devices uses different style cables but im not sure which uses what if you know what im trying to say.... any way, i guess ill give the scenario and let someone knowlageable help me out.

Ill be connecting a Carvin TS100 stero power amp to a (hopefully) mesa triaxis, rack tuner, power conditioner, and maybe a TC G-Major effects unit. nothing crazy just a basic rack setup what goes where and how do i get it all together??

You need a rack cabinet I suppose and some quality made patch cables. Muris told me about some cables that don't need soldering and you can get the m on Ebay, maybe he can hope in and write which ones.

The chain is something like this:
1. Guitar
2. TUner
3. Triaxis
4. Gmajor (in FX loop of the Triaxis)
5. from Triaxis to Power AMp
6. Speaker Cabinet(s)

Power conditioner can stand anywhere and you plug the power in all devices. There is some problems with humming maybe, I think Muris also talked about that too. Something if you put it near some other component not sure... Must check with him.

thanks for your response. unfortunately there are no Triaxis amps on ebay that last more then like a day so i wasn't able to get one. I ended up getting a Rocktron Voodu Valve instead. So that eliminates the Gmajor from the equation as well. Theres a pro-sound/recording gear shop not far from my house im sure i can find some good cables there for the setup.
ill keep updated on my setup after i get all sometime next week.

+1 those are great cables!!

Voodoo Valve is great unit,I had it few years ago, awesome unit for buck imho. smile.gif
If you take some loud poweramp(alltube,60w or louder)
then be sure not to put next to preamp, might cause some humming.
Give them 1HE empty space in between and you shall be fine. wink.gif
