Since im getting the rocktron voodu valve im def. going to want to take advantage of its direct out to pc capability. I've been looking at some USB interface ones which i guess doesn't really classify it as a traditional DI box but id don't know what else to lable it. My only requirement is stereo XLR inputs. I was looking at this one....

but i have heard much of that brand. If anyone has any suggestions Im all ears. (or eyes i guess makes more sense, since this is a forum)

Toneport UX1 is the way to go imo. I have one and you can find a full review on a Gear Review board here on the forum.

the ux1 looks like a good deal but i need one with 2 channels of XLR inputs for the voodu valve to record in stereo. Also with the line 6 product i feel like im paying more for the packaged software and plugins than i am box. I really only need somthing to provide dual xlr inputs into my comp with little latency. I use reaper for recording and the preamp has built in effects so i don't really need all that is included with the tone port.

Tone port UX2 have two XLR inputs and can record at the same time both..I can recommend toneport because I use it and its reliable and I don't know any devices with similar options in that price range...

yeah that M audio box is very similar to what I had originally posted up. I like that box as well but it's still more than the Line 6 and doesn't include the gearbox software. This box is going to be used in a very basic fashion, so i don't really need anything fancy. I don't even need a box with phantom power at this point. I keep reading around though and see what i can find. Thanks for the suggestions
