I would love to be in your age today ... with all the informations and lessons you have online today, learning and practicing guitar has never been easier. You maybe have just 3 hours with your guitar in your hands, but you can easily add 2 hours in you practice routine in the bus:

- learning theory as mentioned, use paper to "play" with keys, scales, chords, intervals, progressions, scale boxes ... always have a little notebook in your pocket
- do you have a mp3 player? Listen to backing tracks, chord progression and try to improvise in your head
- listen to music, but concentrated, try to understand the structure of songs, harmony changes ...
- print out the GP5 files of some lessens, try to learn the fingers in your head, analyze the notes/chords ... you will save a lot of time when you have your guitar finally in your hands.

Oh ... and beside all that, keep some time for your homework, as a responsible "grown up" i have to mention that .. smile.gif

Gook luck !!
