Good question - this calls for a little correction, what I use is my peavey amp and a "red box" which works a little like the pod. I connect it to the speaker output from my amp directly into the mixerboard. But with the splitting method Marcus described (which is awesome! ) - he can take my clean sound and make it sound almost exactly like his! And I get to play with may favorite sound when I am recording my take.Also - we don't really know exactly what patch to go for until we have finished the song and done some tweaking - that's why it's great to keep the clean sound and re-amp. |
