Ok, I thought it would be helpfull for everyone to be able to see what lessons other people have done, what order they done them in, etc.
sooooo, I've made this post so people can post a little "diary" of what lessons they have completed and what they are practicing at the moment. If you post your example, dont make a new post as an update, just edit your current post (you could even put the link in your sig to show off your accomplishment ) Anyways, Heres Mine: Completed Lessons: this is as far as i documented, cant remember before that date: 18th december 2007 http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-g...for-beginners3/ notes: very easy for me date: 18th december 2007 http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-g...-collab-lesson/ notes: a little challenging, but nothing that took too long, less than a day - amazing riffs! date: 18th december 2007 http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/One_on_o...onic_scale1.htm notes: brilliant! helped me alot with horizontal thinking! date: 18th december 2007 http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-g...e-style-lesson/ notes: easy but fun date: 19th December 2007 http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-g...for-beginners4/ notes: a little tricky in some parts date: 22nd December 2007 http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/One_o_one_tapping.htm notes: took a while to develop a calice date: 22nd December 2007 http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-g...lop-technique2/ notes: a great rythm lesson I had a long break from practicing here due to illness and other problems date: 16th April 2008 http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-gui...classical-taps/ notes: I love this lesson, its fun to do and helps alot with tapping date: 17th April 2008 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...nner-solo-in-d/ notes: i loved this lesson, even recorded my take on video for feedback here... https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...c=14330&hl= Currently Practicing: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...lassical-taps/# notes: ive completed this but i still find it helpfull https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...icking-lesson/# notes: im starting to sweep pick and this is awesome! https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...diate/index.htm notes: after playing the beginner lesson through with ease, this one seemed the logical choice, i LOVE the backing! great to improv over. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...icking-thirds/# notes: i need to pick up speed with alternate picking, i liked the look of this and there we go, i hope others reply with their lesson diarys. hey, munta, great idea, i just a got small question: How do you complete a lesson? Because it takes me around 2 days to learn a lesson, but then it takes me a week to practice it, so i can play everything with full control, do you do that or do you just learn and then switch to the next? i complete a lesson by being able to play it perfectly (or when i think i can move onto harder things) in some cases i finish the lesson but still play it so i dont forget. as an example, if i master tapping lesson 1, then i'll move onto tapping lesson 2 and harder things i havnt learnt yet. hope that answers your question. -------------------- Guitars: Epiphone Les Paul Standard w/ Dual EMG 81 Pickups. hmm.. I think..
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...sciante-lesson/ That was my first one, very easy and melodic! https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...ciante-lesson2/ ..ofcourse, this had to be learned. A bit harder, but not to though https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...for-beginners3/ I realy liked that one, and not to hard! https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/blues-licks1/ Cool blues stuff inthere https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...c-dream-lesson/ And my last (just not the one fast shreddy part) I also looked at a lot of one-on-one lessons, and I did a lot of lessons just partly. At the moment I'm not realy practicing one of the lessons, because I'm no member anymore (money...). Nice topic BTW, and yes make it a sticky! |
