Is it possible to record my playing with a lessons backing track, if possible then how, or do you need a mic or something ( I'm using my new Pandora P5XD)

People usually use a webcam with a mic where the webcam picks up the backing track as well as their. For me personally i use a program to record both straight from my computer and my guitar is recorded through podxt

you need a studio soft ware then insert the mp3 backing track on track 1 in soft ware studio
then open a new track for you r playing then record your track after that you can mix down all tracks
fopr example easy soft ware the cakewalk pro9 full.

Is it possible to do so with ableton live, cause I don't want to buy another software for nothing... And if possible, how do you insert the backing from the GMC lesson to the track ????

Try to record something less them 60seconds. 60 seconds is good for starters when you are recording with a backing track.
