i have a question. every time i try to open audacity a gray screen comes up and says temporary top window and it wont load. ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and doing a system restore. anyone know how to fix it? heres a pic

Never seen that Nick but a couple of suggestions:
1) if you're not on the latest beta then try downloading and installing that. If you are then try a previous version. 2)have a look on their forum here to see if anyone else has reported the issue. 3) if those don't work then contact Audacity - provide them with details of the fault and your pc spec as i may be an incompatability between the software and something like your video drivers. You can contact audacity by email at: [email protected]. EDIT - did a key word search on the forum and this maybe the answer for you. If it isn't then do the above. Best of luck. that's weird ... i have no idea what is it about .. i'll suggest you contact audacity or install a newer version if it isn't the case ??
