Being a very international website, I was wondering who liked what...............Being an American living in Europe, I am missing my Nascar fix. F1 is pretty cool, but there is so little real racing. Nascar has got lots of bumping and banging and just appeals more to me. What does this community think?

F1 for me here, although I have to say in recent years its become a little dull and "static", I still watch every race, I just dont get right into it like I used to.

I generally like all forms of motor sport (with a few exceptions), I sat watching some Nascar last night for a while and I enjoy that too but if I had to choose it`d be F1 smile.gif

Anything but NASCAR. I'd rather watch old men and women going round a circuit in electric wheelchairs biggrin.gif

Formula 1 is great but like Smells said it isn't as good as it used to be. Still much better than driving round in circles for god knows how many laps.

I enjoy F1 but they moved to another channel if I'm not all wrong here so now I don't think I'll be watching it that much now. I used to enjoy my sunday afternoons in the couch sad.gif

Nascar not so much, never appealed to me and I never bothered to see more that 5 minutes of going round and round and round and round so in all fairness I never gave Nascar a chanse.

and Rally is a lot of fun. smile.gif

It's moved to BBC in this country. Can you not get a version of BBC in Sweden? Or it is moving to BBC anyway. I know that much.

Soon to be free of adverts. biggrin.gif Adverts are by far the most annoying aspect of watching F1 on ITV.

F1 here, since Fernando Alonso won his first world championship I began to watch it. But I guess it's only because I like him, when he leaves I'll loose interest in this "sport".

That would be awesome! F1 for me though, it seems like theres more skill involved in f1, than just turning left for the whole race.

It's on "Sexan" now, http://www.tv6.se/f1
F1 have been getting more an more boring the last years but I think the new rules made it a bit more exciting now.
I liked the Indy and Cart -series better than F1, but they went downhill too. It was fun to see "Lövis" and Kenny Bräck though.

NASCAR's not really just all about left turns......although I understand that impression. You have major drafting, short tracks, bumping like crazy, it is almost like automobile bull fighting. Certainly an acquired taste, but when you start to follow it, it is pretty addictive. F1 has been fun to follow, but it is sort of anticlimatic, every week Ferrari is out front, maybe mclaren is around, maybe renault, but that is about it............
