Alvin Lee (Ten Years After, Alvin Lee & Company, Ten Years Later etc.) is one of my inspirations, and still seems to be relatively unknown after 20 albums and 40+ years in the business. Anytime I'm struggling with the lessons here I listen to some of his tracks and I'm ready to go again. Here are a few clips I found on YouTube:
Ain't Nothing Shaking I May Be Wrong But I Won't Be Wrong Always Bad Scene What do you think? |

But at the time, he was quite creative. Always have liked this song.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=hUokMbJC3P8 |

This the first time that I listen to him, and I like it! he was a woodstock in 69. and here is is there, doing "I'm Going Home". Fast swingy blues thing, very long. Keeping in mind the time, he was certainly ahead of all but a few of the pack at the time. http://youtube.com/watch?v=tHw9b4BBV9Y&feature=related |

Yeah. He doesn't seem to get much credit or get talked about. It's a shame. Great artist.
