Sound Control has today been put into administration and the staff told to go home and all the locks have been changed with going into receivership.

It's quite shocking really. Biggest music retailers in UK gone sad.gif

They are all shut today I know that for certain. All staff have been told to go home and until they pay up what they owe they wont be reopening.

Yep - unless they're separate entities. If you buy from it then you will probably appear on the list of creditors but a long way down - way down below the tax man and banks etc and I think they'd be paid before you get your money or goods sad.gif .

Real shame - Sound Control were ok like OC said, friendly and a reasonable (for the UK) stock. Probably means Digital Village are now the biggest in the UK?
