To be fair Canada was way better, but Sweden put up a good fight i think.
I'm so impressed by the Canadian ability to score from any situation. Just speed to the goal and shoot. Congraz Canada, the final will be a *very warm place* of a game. Congrats rokchik, I thnik you got a gold medal now smile.gif

I bet the bronze match will be a good game too!
I know how bad the Finland - Sweden statistics are for us(I think finland has won like 12 and sweden like 40 times or something if I remember correctly?), but I still have my hopes up!

This swedish team did everything we could expect and way more... We have to remember that this is really a B-team, after so many players turned down playing this year. But as always Sweden has an amazing ability to build a TEAM, no matter of the individual skills.
Oh, and Doug Murray... What a guy!! So un-swedish way of playing hockey, he have been very useful just because the other teams have such respect for this bulldozer... Hope he will join in the future...

I think the bronze game will be a very off game, after all, only gold counts in the end, and I think the players will be into that game 70% at the most, they will let players who didn't play so much play this game, and so forth...
In the final I kind of hope for Russia, just because I always vote for the underdog, and Canada have enough of gold medals..

Superize I thought of you on both of Kovalchuck's goals smile.gif I knew you'd be happy! I wasn't though LOL!

I'm disappointed, obviously, but Russia showed a lot of heart in that game and Ovechkin just gets soooo excited when someone scores. It's great watching a player with so much love for the game. Exciting game and just superb hockey. One of the best games I've seen in a long time.

Congrats to Russia smile.gif

Would have been nice to see Canada win on home soil, but Russia played a great game.
