Kamelot is an American band that was founded in 1991 by their gitarist and former drummer.
Their style is simply amazing. The vocalist, Roy Khan, is norwegian and was training to become an Opera singer before joining the band. So he know what he's doing.

They're currently finishing their tour here in europe together with Firewind, and will be performing in Oslo, Norway later today. Wish I could be there.. It would be the experience of a lifetime...

Listen yourselves:

Kamelot - Farewell
Kamelot - THe Haunting
Kamelot - Ghost Opera
Kamelot - Don't You Cry (An calm Acoustic song)
Kamelot - When the Lights are Down

I'm a huge Kamelot fan. The live DVD (which some of those clips are from) they gave out a little while ago is one of the best performed shows i've seen.

I have all the CD's but I need to get hold of the DVD as well. So you'd definitely recommend Trond?

Ohyes, I can definetly recommend that one. It's well filmed/recorded with plenty of tracks, and there's not a single note thats off for the entire set. One of my favourite live dvds smile.gif
