David,

I am not sure if I can still enter but I rifled off a quick lead to the backing track.
I agree your tracks and lessons are always sweet!! Here's my feel for it

Hey folks,

I am not sure if this is against the rules but I did the 1st one quickly on my lunch
break and I am not happy with the timing on parts so I retracked it just now.

If you can, than play with the settings of my sound to make it sound better and give me tips on what I can do to improve it, thanks!

ummmm modern jazz laugh.gif the music made me do it..just what it made me feel..so thats what came out..if it is to much for the collab..I could try anouther solo.. I looped it for about and hour and had a blast playing over it..some of my runs started to scared me so i had to step away from the guitar for a while cause i dont know where they came from... ohmy.gif Attached File  ballistic_jazz_nbt.mp3 ( 691.11K ) Number of downloads: 184

here's my take, i didn't thought that i would compose it so quickly cause i don't play jazz a lot ... though i like it a lot smile.gif
I think my sound is ok, i'm using a podX3 with EMG pickups, but i would like to make it better. So, if anybody can propose Pod X3 (or XT) tone for clean sound it would be really nice. thanks

Hope you like it. I know there are problems with my playing,
