So what are is GMC's favorite themes they like to see done in lyrics? Mine would have to be Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror and war stories. Personal experiences, and historical. I think these are the ones I've connected most with throughout my life, So thats why I chose those smile.gif

Hmm, mine really varies from any genre.

Depression, war, thrashing/moshing, Metal, Gore, Philosophy, Religion, Vikings, Pagan, Murdering, drug trips, Fantasy etc.

I think I've stated it for the most part on what I'm interested in, but I know I missed a few.

Life experience, past, present, future are first and formost for me. Then I start looking at other peoples lives and how they handled pain and happiness.

Stuff about how the writer is feeling, love and happiness or anger and depression, whatever. A little political/social commentary is always nice. I tend not to like lyrics that are just meant to rhyme or whatever.

I like love story, because I find it challenging to write a happy love story and that the lyrics sound good.
And I like any story that involves space, and space traveling.smile.gif

Futuristic, and thoughtful lyrics about people and their destiny are my 2 cents.
